The NIROS Steps Forward Workshop consist of 6 Modules, tailored to enhance individuals Reentry Success:
- Through self-reflection exercise, this module encourages individuals to examine their past, identify patterns and influences that has shaped their life's, including understanding their personality traits characteristics. This awareness is the foundation for change
- Focuses on accountability and self discipline, this module provides practical strategies for avoiding past mistakes, and building a strong foundation for personal and legal responsibilities.
- Individuals learn the values of setting clear vision vision for their lives beyond incarceration, how to properly tell their story and establishing meaningful core values that reflect their life's priorities.
- This module teaches about the essential life skills needed in navigating the reentry joining
- Establishing a career pathway and understanding finance and credit is key to stability. This Module covers job readiness, essential budgeting, credit and debt management skills to support independence and financial security
- Practical planning steps in this module helps individuals establish clear roadmap that defines the critical stages of their Reentry, predicting any possible risk of Recidivism and individualized criminogenic needs. This Module extend into Goal setting utilizing the - Aligning Life's Intentions with Goals and Needs (ALIGN) framework, and SMART Goals setting criteria, which helps to structure individuals Goal around their values and priorities, ensuring that every steps they take is meaningful and productive.
