NIROS is a digital reentry platform dedicated to helping individuals successfully transition from incarceration back into society. Our programs provide targeted intervention, education and community support to address the unique challenges of the reentry journey.
The Invisible Problem
A man leaves prison after serving his time, he's hopeful. He wants to make a change. But outside doors are closed on him, there are no Job and housing opportunities, due to his felony conviction. Also everywhere he goes people look at him as a criminal, not a person trying to rebuild his life.
Within months, he's back behind bars. This story is repeated everyday across the United State. Its not just about individuals failing. - It's a broken system that keeps sending people back to prison.
WHY? Because individuals with criminal record continually face barriers that are impossible to overcome alone:
